Art Clay Silver 650, sometimes called low-fire clay, needs the lowest
firing temperature (650°C), and only shrinks about 8-9% in volume. At this low temperature it can be fired with sterling silver (which would
get firescale and get brittle at higher temperatures) and some natural stones. It is the perfect clay to use with dichroic glass, or other fused glass.
An excellent Starter kit for beginners is now available. |

ART CLAY SILVER 650 CLAY This Art Clay
Silver low-fire clay can be fired with glass, some stones and sterling silver. You can fire it with a torch, on a gas stove, or in a kiln. Simply shape your
piece, leave it to dry, and fire it - and you're left with a pure fine silver piece. The clay can be hallmarked as fine silver at any UK Assay Office.
Choose between 7, 10, 20 or 50gm. The 50gm package contains 2 individually wrapped 25gm blocks of clay. A 7gm package should be enough to make a
average sized ring, and maybe a charm or two.

ART CLAY SILVER 650 SLOW DRY CLAY This
Art Clay Silver clay combines the low firing temperature of the 650 clay, with the up to 4 times longer working time of the Slow Dry clay. It has a slightly
more elastic feel than the normal 650 clay. Extrude through syringe to create thin smooth snakes of clay.
Perfect for making intricate modelling shapes, or for detailed miniatures. Knot it, weave it and braid it! Use with standard Art Clay 650 Paste and Syringe.
Just like the standard 650 Clay, it can be fired with a torch, gas stove, or kiln, and can be hallmarked. Choose between 7, 10, 20 or 50gm. The
50gm package contains 2 individually wrapped 25gm blocks of clay. A 7gm package should be enough to make an average sized ring, and maybe a charm or two. |

ART CLAY SILVER 650 PASTE
Use the Paste to glue (wet or dry) clay parts together, for repairing cracks and filling in marks and bumps, and to add a textured surface
to the clay. Can also be painted onto a burnable core, like a leaf, twig or cork clay, to create a fine silver replica. Choose between 10 or 20gm. There is also a new version of the paste, called Low Binder Version. This is suitable for using with detailed stencils and for decorating dried
silver clay. This is only available in 20g pots. |

ART CLAY SILVER 650 SYRINGES Use the
syringes to decorate your clay with squiggles and lines, to create little bezels to set lab created stones in, or on its own to make hollow filigree like
designs. Simply create a core shape with cork clay and cover it with the syringe. When you fire the piece, the cork clay will burn away and leave you with a
hollow delicate piece.
Keep your syringes standing in a glass of water when you're not using them. Remember to put it back as soon as you finish so the tip doesn't dry out.
Each syringe contains 10gm of clay, and you can choose between 1, 3 or no tips.
There is a new version of syringe, called Low Binder Type. This was created by Aida together with Mr Toshihide Ueeda. The Low Binder syringe is suitable for
the flashfiring method also developed by Mr Ueeda.

ART CLAY SILVER 650 OVERLAY PASTE
This Art Clay exclusive product is specially formulated for use on glass, porcelain and glazed ceramics. Simply paint your design on in a
thin layer with a brush, let dry, and fire. You can also create sgraffito designs, where you paint on a thin layer, leave it to dry, and then carve designs
into the unfired silver so the porcelain shines through. Can also be used for repairs as an alternative to Oil Paste for pieces which require a lower firing
temperature. See the "Art Clay Silver Overlay" book for lots of inspirational ideas.
