Art Clay Cork Clay
The cork clay is used as a core material to make hollow shapes. Make your shape, dry completely, cover with clay and fire. The cork clay will burn out completely, and leave a small amount of ash, which you can just brush, or rinse, off. The manufacturer recommends it is fired in a kiln only, but I know people have fired small shapes successfully with a torch. This requires care though - and should be done outside as it gives off a lot of smoke.
Create beautiful delicate filigree-like designs using the syringe. Trap stones (or gold!) in a cage of silver. Create your own silver birdcage... Make a silver clay bell...
Once open, wrap up carefully in double layers of clingfilm, and put in a grip seal bag, keep in room temperature, and it will last for a long, long time.
There is a lot of cork clay in the large pack so it should last you for a long time. The large pack is 150 x 105 x 20 mm, approx 240gm. The small pack is half this size.
